better not to inject through the cotton! Ask the vet you saw and they will show you exactly how to do it.

Wise words, get the vet to show you how but you need to be competent to inject any animal if not get the vet to do it as you dont want to get it wrong, but to be truthful if his organs are failing and lack of calcium it might be to late

I know all I can do is try, just phoned up Denise at reptile rescue den and she said some do get better BUT then go downhill 6 months later, like the vet said she was really concerned about it and gave it a 50/50 chance of it surviving!!!!! Im totally peeved at the previous owners letting it get that way!!!!

martin im gutted that the iggy is suffering and would suggest that if the iggy get really really really poorly u let him go to the rainforest in the sky , as this would be better than letting him suffer.

however i hope and i really really hope u listen to this one piece of advice, DONT GET ANOTHER IGGY .

You cant handle it , especially if you got one that wasnt tame and was not constantly too busy fighting pain to fight you.

im gutted for the iggy i really am, but please martin, ill post you pic of mine doing something different everyday for you, ill even consider paying you an extra allowance just to not get an iggy .

Good luck to the IGGY .

i feel you are being well harsh in telling him not to get another he just needs a young 2fter or something in gd health so he can grown and learn about his pet as his pet learns about him thats what owning an iggy is all about and thats why people are on this forum to help others progress and become better rep keepers not to hinder them and make them feel bad whats to say your herp keeping is upto scratch.

Martin

Just a query buddy , did the vet not show you when you got your meds from him?

if so and you forgot I surgest you call your 24hr vet and have them come inject him for you and show you how.

we are all amateurs on here apart from the select few, and even then they are not vetrinary experts so all advice given is best guess in most cases

hope all goes well fella

P.S sailfinman, Martins abailities have been questioned before (never by me) , thats all jeremyisking was getting at, although it did come across a bit harsh sometimes that is needed
