No this is a really good question how can you 'make sure' they have a really big poo?

He had a large download dump just over two weeks ago, since then I think he ate one worm then, that's it, not a single thing since it isn't like you can reason with them. Bathing him doesn't work either I have tried in the past. I can't entice him to poop and he just doesn't want to come out of the hole......he's gone back in now......he had a little water though

He sounds like he is pretty empty then if he hasnt eaten anything. give him a nice warm bath (Not very often you will hear me give that advice, lol) and then if he doesnt go in the bath or within a couple of days after that ... having still not had any food ... then you can safely say he is empty.

Good luck

All I can say is that its a worrying time.
None of mine (6) actually sleep as such and some stay awake and eating the whole year.
As above we do get the drunken "where's that water bowl and i hope its full" episodes at any unearthly time of day or night which is quite comical to watch.
I am sure Dragons are designed to worry the heck out of you in any way they can.

one of mine recently looked like her eyes were about to explode out of her head......OMG a quick call to a more experienced person than myself and the answer was...
"yes its common....she is either trying to loosen a stubborn bit of shed or just showing you she can do it and scaring the living sh*t out of you".

First time i had seen it in many years of dragons. I will try and get a pic if I can if she does it again. P

Hi

I have a question regrading this my male beardie is around 9 months old and showing signs of wanting to brumate. he isnt interested in his live food and eating very very little of his veg. Hes spending all his time hiding in the cool end flat out. He doesnt seem interested in anything apart from coming out for short periods.

Could he just be relaxing slightly slowing down for winter?

Thanks
