Default oh dear.. need advice

my little guy (zeus) had a tail nip from his girlfriend (jupiter) the other week.. i were mortified! so i seperated them... after a week i thought i'd put little zeus back in with her, to my horror he now has a little bite on his back "knee".... so i think best to seperate them for a long time...

question is..... will they ever be ok to house together when they are adults?

at the moment zeus is a tad smaller than jupiter, i have seen how she reacts with the older beardies ( i haven't put them in together!) she seems a right little madam!!!!!

i'm hoping to be breeding these when they are adults

How old are they hun are you sure you got one of each? You cant really sex them till they bout a year or so old. I personally wouldnt keep 2 together 2 males will fight 2 females will possibly fight 1 male 1 female will just have lots of sex outcome lots of batches of eggs one exhausted female and she will probably die. Keep them apart hun. Hope this helps.

heya

from wot i have learnt and from wot ive been told by alot of keepers than can be ok togeva but as u are allready experincing the larger of the 2 is bullying the other. i have bin told that the males when older will constantly pester the female if kept together. resulting in bites to the back of the neck etc, they can get quiet dominant, but other ppl have no problems. i had to take 1 of my sisters as the other was pestering it to much and she did not have the space to seperate them since then he has come on leaps and the nuttiest dragon i have had. i personaly wouldnt keep males and females togeva. all mine have allways bin kept seperatly and they have all bin very happy and not had any need for company even vo they do come out n run around togeva.

hope this helps im sure loads of ppl on here will offer you advise.

The chances are now they have started fighting they will never be tolerant to eachother. You can double check that they are male & female when they get a bit older and try to house them together again but I wouldn't leave them unattended until you are absoluetely sure they are getting on - it may have just been a little nip this time, next time could be more serious.
