Default Red eyed crocodile skinks

Im just wondering more than anything, well im very very intrested aswel because i will be getting one maybe after xmas depending on how long i will get all the set-up ready.
Is there afew breeders about who's selling the young or have a adult breeding pair for sale, also are there any GOOD care sheets from experience online, ive seen one but when i read up on exotics it said they did need a basking light or something and the other website said different.

People advice would be much better off here i thought (people who've kept them or are breeding them, please).

Also if theres any more important things id need to know,i am willing to do my research like i have abit but when ive read up two diffferent things off different websites im feeling abit confused now and i wanna get it right..

Ive heard they are shy to handle,is that true?

Hi,

I am in a similar position. I am hoping to get a pair next year but in the mean time I am doing research.

The care sheet Amy recommended is the best one I have come accross so far but there was a section in the practical reptile keeping magazine about them a few months ago which I found very interesting and helpful also. It was issue 4, the September one.

As for the breeder front, the only one that has been mentioned to me is CPR. I asked at my local reptile shop and them said they can get them at £60 each but I don't know if they are adults or babies.

I still need to do a lot more research myself but please keep me posted if you find anything interesting and I will return the favour.

Cheers,
Carly
