Default Best method?

i have a young velvet gecko who has failed to shed one foot and i was wondering what the best method was of removing the dead skin without distressing it too much?

any ideas welcome

i dunno if its the same, but if our leos dont shed their toes, we just put them in very shallow luke warm water, which usually helps it to come off.

I'd get the shed ease out. Give it a good spray and rub it in if you can (easier said than done I know!). You'll probably need to do it a few days running but the stuff worked wonders for me when one of mine had a really bad shed.
The tub of warm water trick might work, but there's no guarantee the little thing will stay sitting in it.
Check your humidity levels in the viv too (should be aabout 50%). It might be that you need to mist more regularly, or keep the substrate more moist.
