Default THANKYOU - please read!

A short story -

After seeing a chameleon in a local set shop a few years ago, I learned that the shop was going to have baby's about 6 months later - I've always longed to own a chameleon, but they were 'to hard to keep', as I was told, then a few google searches later I started to learn of the hobby and online forums...
so now I have a 2 year old male Yemen chameleon called 'Spiderpig' who's been with mesince he was about 6 weeks old. The guy in the shop only gave me him so young as he was happy with my ability to look after him properly.

Then came the fateful day when the guy in the shop said to me......'WAIT 'TILL I SHOW YOU THIS.......

...an AF OBT.
I went home with it.
My wife hit the roof.
There was a discussion.
I probably lost.
I am stubborn (in a nice way!)

I now have over 100 T's, loads of milli's and scorps and mantids, 3 roach colonies, a mealworm/beetle colony and various tubs of livefood about the place
My wife has a hamster, a male orchid mantis, and a female Leo called Betty.
If I ever have a question about lizards or inverts - I come here first - better than all the books you could ever get!!!

So a big THANKYOU and HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS everyone!!!

I love reading about others that have the bug - so to speak - I,ve got it bad, I currently have my eye on 2 leos from diff places and I know a store not too far from here that has a bunch of baby cresties, I'm trying to make space for them all...

My wife bought me a 'slam santa' one year that says 'Bah, I hate christmas' 'cos she says I'm such a miserable sod, its hilarious!

Merry xmas to u 2 n everyone on this forum.

We started off with 1 beardie that we rescued from someone about a yr ago to now 8 (did have 10 but sold the two adults to make room for their babies :-( ) plus 3 hatchlings and 9 eggs left to hatch!!
Our 18 months old son also loves our beardies and always likes to get involved the daily routines with them and fussing them so he's also got the bug lol. We also got my oh's dad in to beardies and he now has 4 of his own aswell and now i want a BRB next haha.
Unfortunately that is not gonna happen in the near future tho. OH is scared of them and also understandably doesn't want them around our toddler son.
Maybe when hes older tho
