just found bella(crestie) dead
hi got up this morning and found bella really stiff on her hammock.ive checked for breathing no sign and shes really stiff,i held her in my hand and she didnt move now usually shes a very scatty thing and would fly off of me.im 100% shes passed during the night.yesterday she was very lively walking around the viv etc temps where 75.4 hot spot humidity was between 55-75%.my real concern now is for harley and bindi incase she had anything contagious.can we take her to a vet and get a post mortum done and how much would it cost?dou now of any near sheffield that open on a sunday.all advice greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about Bella, I would personally want to know why she died. She is a young cresty so I would be wanting to know what happened (in case its something contagious)try to find a vet that can do a pm on her - even if you have to travel to another (close) town, good luck.

im waiting for a reply from my vets in sheffield.as too wear to taken her.i have to find out why she died incase its contagious for harley and bindis sake and to find out incase i did anything wrong

So, so sorry to hear this. On a more practical note you should put her (bless her) in the fridge until you can get a pm done.

yeah ive just spoke to chaz at snakes and adders as i got fed up of waiting for my fluffies vet to reply and he said the same.im going to ring joanna storm up in bradford and get her to do a pm for me.
i cant get hold of them as the office is closed so going to ring first thing 2morro and try and get her in then.how long will she be ok for in the fridge?
