Default Rocks/Pebbles in vivs?

Do you like have to like wash them wish bleach? My mum is isanely inlove with taking pebbles from the beach, we've got loads of them.. quite big ones too.
Would I be able to wash them and put them in?

i nicked mine from the beach too

Dont use bleach as some may be porous and absorb it.
Just use boiling water to wash them, then back them in the oven.
That should kill anything living on them.

no probs
just make sure when u put them in that they cant topple over in any way and hurt ur lizard. Other than that, they should be fine

Oh, and make sure they aren't too small to swallow

best way I've found to clean pebbles and stones is to firstly boil them in a saucepan for an hour or two ~ simply pouring boiling water over them doesn't get all nooks and crannies clean ~ and then putting them in the oven on a low temperature to finish and to dry them thoroughly .... word of warning ~ be aware that stones etc will not only retain the heat for quite a while but if you 'bake' them at too high a heat and/or for too long they can 'fracture'/splinter quite violently
