Its a reall stunner!

Some fab spotting going on!

Personally, I would say that it was a Flame Dalmation - I am not sure if the flank pattern is heavy and high enough to be a Harley.

But I could be wrong!

I think it looks a lot like the little fella I have available (link in sig).

Congratulations on your new addition

See I'd have said yep, a harlequin, because a flame doesn't tend to have the pattern as strong on the sides. BUT hey, I might be wrong!! Thing is with morphs, there is such a fine line between some morphs, yet a huge grey area between others!

Lovely dalmation spotting by the way!!

See Arnold: (Pants example Excession sorry, just he isn't really fired up)

I don't know whether he is male or female, as too young to sex, not got any names yet, but thinking, either DIGIT, NUGGET, PENUT along them lines lol.

I think its borderline, same as the little chap I have up for sale.

There is a good article here and i think both the OP's new addition and the lad I have for sale would fit in his border line discription.

Quote:
The biggest issue arises when distinguishing between the two morphs. The following three geckos I would consider borderline between flame and harlequin. There is a lack of patterning all the way up the sides of the gecko, signifying flame. However, their limbs are patterned to a certain degree, and some people would argue they should be grouped with the harlequins. It is probably best to call them flames to avoid giving a false impression. Their patterning is bold and contrasts with the background, but it’s not nearly as dense as it could be to consider them to be harlequins.
And that is why i am advertising ours as a flame.

Although reading the Pangea guide it would seem they sugest a flame has a clear flank.

I guess we should call them both lesser Harley Dalmations

Crestie morphs can be too subjective i think.

Yeah I agree, some have tried to call Arnold "Plain" before lol! and Chevron, but TBH, he will do as a flame for me so that's what I base it on.

I also base it on if the markings are "so high" and there are four or more port holes, then it be a harlequin, but hey, I like the name "Lesser Harlequin"

At the end of the day it's down to the person. Sod it, Arnold is now a "Gold Curvy Striped" morph :P
