Default Help with yemen chams??

HI im looking for some answers to the following

i have 1.2 veiled (yemen) chameleons started with a young pair the male has always thrived but the female was very shy and always hiding up black in colour and hardly ever eating. she slowly picked up getting better and better she is now the same size as the male.. around two months ago i decided to get another female she was a large sub adult size and was displaying gravid colours when i bought her she settled in well and kept showing gravid colours but suddenly stoped showing them one day ???? i looked in the sand tub to see if she had layed eggs but there where none which i thought was very strange ?? she has not shown gravid colours since. the other female who for the past 3-4 months has been solid green is now showing gravid colours very intencely (she looks stunning) and im wondering if i should expect eggs this time or if its just some thing that they do from time to time

If any one can shed some light on to whats going on it would be great thanks for your time

It is possible that the eggs if there are any are burried deep in the sand.

They get brighter colours when receptive to the males. I take it that they are housed separately and not all in together? If they are housed together, oner more of them will be stressed!

Chameleons are perfect - they don't make any mess, smell or noise, don't leave fur on the carpet and don't need walking!
