Default Leo's losing tail weight..help!

Ok first of all I have a vet appointment on friday for them, they aren't skinny skinny but i'm just worried their tails are getting smaller- could this be due to the medication?

I have 2 juve leo's, there were three, and I lost one to crypto.

The vet promptly put them on anti flagellate, but they are still losing weight.

I'm feeding them critical care, as well as a mix of mealies, locusts & Crix.
They have 3 hides, lots of foilage, and are on kitchen roll.

My temps are fine, any ideas why they are losing weight? Just to put my mind at rest for the next 24 hours!

im sorry to hear that you lost one,

by the sounds of it could either be down to the medication, the flagellates, or there is a possibility of other parasites that could be using the food before the gecko can

has your geckos had a feacal sample? that will say if there is any other nasties in there too

Were all three leos housed together? Unfortunately, crypto is that it's extremely contagious, so I'm afraid that it's highly likely that your other leos will also be infected if they were kept in the same viv. Sadly, there's currently no cure for crypto

This thread provides further information on the disease.
