hi there, your viv looks great and well done for getting advice and sorting it out before you get your dragon. just a couple of things i noticed. I would definately get rid of the bark it can be fatel to any age beardie. What age are you getting if less than 6 months i would just use kitchen roll and any older tiles/sand or both. but just buy playsand not the reptile stuff as again can be very dangerous despite what any packet says or shop keeper says.

The other thing i would think about is your basking spot, you want your beardie to bask about 6 inches away from bulb, (between 4 and 8 anyway) They love climbing up plants so that is not a problem but they shouldn't be able to touch the basking bulb or they could burn themselves it may be decieving in pic but looks like he/she could reach your bulb from the climber? persomally i would put the rock under basking spot and climbing bits in middle or cool end. Then they can lie flat and bask which is what mine does.

good luck and have fun

To be honest I've never heated a 5ft viv, so im not really sure, One 100W bulb is about right for a 4ft viv, so you might just have to try and see. As you've already got two light sockets in there it might be worth putting a 60W in the one at the end and a 40W in the one nearer the middle, that way it'll probably give out the same amount of heat as a 100W one, but will be a fair bit brighter, and beardies like it bright!

Thanks People

Keep all the comments and advice comming, reading it all and taking it in, looking for changes and a better environment and deciding to change a couple of things as suggested.
