Default Whats better crickets or locusts?

just wondering if theres any good and bad things with crickets or locusts could be picking up a leo this week & she only eats locusts where my beardie eats crickets so wondering if i could just order a bulk buy of locusts instead of buying both if that makes sense

just bulk buy some locusts, once you've had locusts both you and your beardy will not want to go back to crickets! No noise, smell, escapees etc.

Agree 100%. Locust are far better IMO.

far more bloody expensive too!!!! wheres the best place to buy bulk locusts anyone no?

I use locusts, for my leos. But since the thread on here the other week, am serciously considering switching to Dubias

Dubias have just as big a mouth as locusts do, and could do a similar amount of damage. Whatever you feed your reps there is a small chance it will bite your rep in self defence, just have to be careful.

I get my locusts from livefooduk.com, always get loads more than I order, they last for weeks and never really have any die on me.

Theyre not as cheap, but if properly gutloaded can hold a lot more nutrients, so you dont need to feed as many.

And as locusts are softer shelled than crickets. you can feed slightly larger ones within reason of course.
