hi thanks for answers guys, hes main branch is fixed in so yeh guess ill need alot of patience gettin him on a diffrent branch lol
did orignaly think of gloves and take the bite but then i tought it will stress him way too much and really dont want a dead cham ill post pics up of new home when i get round to finishing in it and putting him in thanks again atb john |

I use welding gloves and a handful of bravery pills (the pills are for me
)!I can't even use a branch or stick as he REALLY doesn't like anything except his lunch in his cage... ![]()

I use a tea towel - throw it over them, pick them up (Minding the mouth as they still bite!) and transfer quickly. They might get angry with it but it gets it done quickly rather than faffing about for ages giving them a long period of low grade stress. But depends on the cham I guess.

i'd go with the tea towel, the darkness will limit the stress factor and its more time efficient than fiddling about with branches.

we have had our yemen out a few times - with pretty much the same result but hes calm and lets us near hime once out - we tend to just leave him be now.
but there are times - as like yours when its needed. time and perseverance are probably your best bet. ours just tends to sulk for a couple of days after - so we just leave him be. |
