Default chipsi chips

yes it can as long as its of a suitable grade/size as it can be ingested when attacking food items which may lead to problems if swallowed you will still have to provide a damp box for your leo's-in summary yes it can be used but there are better substrates available

another substrate thread lol!

if your gecko is an adult and the peices of chip are quite big, then i dont see a problem with it, its what i use and ive had no problems.

if however its for a young 'un then just use kitchen towel or lino for now.

but yes, adults = ok
(*runs and hides from jools*)

nope wouldn't even use it with an adult..... if you look at the thread I posted you'll see that the leo concerned in that wasn't exactly a small leo and the lumps of woodchip it eventually passed weren't small either Come to think of it the chunks found in this gecko weren't small either

i think this is one of the many 'lets agree to dissagree' situations, theres problems with all substrates and theres never a 100% safe substrate...ive seen a bd choke on kitchen towel.

to the op......best thing is to do what you think is safest.
