i live in ealing and work at heathrow.

i got my beardie and all my equipment from waterlife. they gave me a bit of duff info. since read up about taking the sand out and got a 15% uvb light thats longer with a new starter thanks to reading advice on here. also stopped with the lettuce she was brought up on and no more runny poo! however i do tend to go there for my live food still as they gave me a discount card, always well stocked and close to where i work.

glinda, my beardie purchased very tiny in nov is still doing well and healthy. she has her mood swings, but don't they all!? sulked for a few days recently but after an extra long cuddle and falling asleep on me she was fine again! she's staring at me now with part of a dandelion hanging from her mouth!

there's a pets at home in new malden near wimbledon that has a larger reptile section than most local alternatives, great for other pets as well as it's pretty big, its where i stock up with essentials for my cat. i have heard of reptile places in staines, ashford and surbiton; but not tried those yet. i tend to use online places quite a bit for random bits and pieces and also live food generally due to my mixed shifts.

Thanks for that reply. I'll have a look at those different shops. I'd never buy any livestock from pets at home though as I know how the animals are treated and how the staff are trained with only basic knowledge from a brief stint working for the company...not good. I stayed a year only because I was a student and needed the money but left in the end because I didn't agree with how the animals were treated as well as the companies polocies.
