you will know when shes finished when she emerges and completly refilled the hole.
do not disturb her while shes in the hole
do not remove the eggs untill she has completly finished and moved away from the site.
she will probably dig a couple of exploritory sites before laying.
i used my fingers to take the eggs out but i know somepeople who use spoons, but im always scared they will roll
i also have found a soft bristle brush is good to get the sand away from the top of the eggs so you can see what you are dealing with.they will be all in one big heap.
have you got an incubator all up and ready to go?
have i missed anything???

make sure there is water and food on hand as soon as she is finished and dust all food items with a good dose of calcium
and most of all be calm
shes laying...she knows what shes doing.

yep incubator is up to temp and humidity reasy to go
poly box and heat pad with vermiculite in the base plus dimmerstat and humisity and temp guages
the tubs have sand and vermiculite mixture ready as well
as for food...i need some more hoppers, she seems to have stopped eating crix since she got preggers....but i still have a few left to tide me over...i am making sure she eats at least a few hoppers dusted in calc, and the others are on the crix!!

ok so she has stopped diging for now, and had some food, and gone to her sleep spot,
so when she has moved away from the site, i take the eggs out asap??

ooooh getting excited....

no rush taking them out..just when she has finished patting it all down and has moved off then you can carefully dig them up...

offer her water when she has finished infilling the hole..
