Default odd behaviour

hiya
my beardy has been acting rather odd this past week
he has been scratching a banging his head into the vivarium glass
and has also used his claws to scratch out the polystyrene which cover the heatmatt.
i went into my local and the girl in there said that this was pretty normal and that he just might need to be handled and be let out the viv a bit more

has anyone else got any theorys??

hes eatin fine,
his viv conditions are fine
this is purely out of curiosity, im not really worried

how old is your beardie? what size is your viv? and how long have you had him in thi viv? it could be poor housing or so it sounds. they can rub their heads on things and do strange things i there isnt adequate space for them in their viv.....

thought so, it may be that. they can become itchy and get irritated and try to knock and rub the skin off.....when he does start to shed you could bath him again to help the skin come off a bit quicker and easier see if that helps
