Tip kinks on leos...are they a hereditary trait that can be passed down or does it just affect one leo and not a trait but just a feature it was born with?
Certain Patternless lines carry tail kinks that certainly appear hereditary, and this kink is not necessarily limited to patternless lines either.
I have a male Blizzard het albino with a kinked tailtip. I was told originally that he'd been bitten by a cagemate before I got him... but when I hatched out half a dozen babies last year by him who ALSO have the "Pikachu" tailtip, I kinda figured it's not - and that it looks like a dominant trait too!

oo dominant too! does it mean leos with tip kinks are sold at a reduced price or is it an ok thing to have?
Often leos with kinks are sold at a reduced price.
Kinks can be common in new traits (or line bred ones such as line bred snows) but can generally bred out fairly easily unless the line breeding is continued.
