Default Hand feeding

Is hand feeding lizards all the time healthy?

I don't hand feed my beardies very often because they are fast enough to catch the crickets but i hand feed my leos every time because the crickets just dissapear into the corkbark.

My beardie will only eat from your hand, its a nightmare cause she just sits there and even if one falls she just looks at it

I find it more fun letting the beardies hunt. Also its not always easy to hand feed them especially if your rushing to go out due to a busy day so its best not too :P

my BD would only eat from my hand for a while, she got really lazy and hardly ever moved so I stopped doing it, it took her about a week to get hungry enough to catch her food.
I think its more natural to let them catch it and better for them, it gives them excersize.
Try breaking the big jumping legs off or putting them in the fridge for 5 minutes to make them slower.

Cheers.

I have tried putting them in the fridge but they still get in to the bark.

Tried putting the leo's in a seperate feeding viv aswell but they wouldn't eat.
