Default Beardie Colouring - Is He Stressed ?

I got my 2 month old beardie a few days ago now and he seems happy enough ... he started to eat a few locusts this morning so I am happy he is eating as he didnt eat anything yesterday , however when I try and hand feed him or handle him , the underside of his beard and belly show black stripes ... is this just a sign of stress and will he become more relaxed with time ?

Am I better handling him every day at his age or shall I leave him for a few weeks/months ... any thoughts ?

he wil have to get use to his new home and you so keep showing him that ur and wont harm him and by hand feeding him he will start to relate ur hand to food which in his eyes is a very good thing haha he will b fine jus give him time mine were the same when i got them but now because ive handled them everyday there fine and love coming out and being handled

yeh squiglly bellys are stressed colours, but dont always mean stress, but if its wehn you go to handle him then yes it is, he is unsure of whats goin on, or scared, or just not comfy with it.

if it happens at othe rtimes it could be hes cold, feeling a little dicky etc.
But in general yes they are stressed coliurs as opposed to happy colours.

He will defo become more accpeting in time.
also as mentioned by other poster, its still good to show him ur no harm, just take it easy.
