Even though theres always exceptions in general theres species of lizard that drink from a bowl..and species that dont, for thos eones you mist the viv so they lick the droplets.
Leos...drink from bowls.
and if not, you still wouldnt mist the viv as they are very much desert animals.
Im suprised in 2 weeks he hasnt already developed a problem ,especially if its an actual misting rather than say... a couple of drops over a small area.
Just reading your post again and it seems you wer under the impression it needed higher humidity.. not for drinking.. thats very suprising and I would be interested to see any care sheets that sugest that.
The only time leos will require higher humidity is for shedding..and this must just be localised into a specific area like a moist hide/box etc.
Whilst its completely true you can mist for extra humidity..as it is the result of that.. I cant believe anyone would sugest to you that leos need anything other than low as possible humidity.
A water bowl is a lot easier, so thats one good thing, your work load will already reduce.
