Default Fish tank incubation method

I have some questions, i would like to use the fish tank incubation method as i have all of the materials here anyway. Has anyone used this method successfully? And how would i go about it?

I assume get 2 bricks and lay them down fill up with water to just over the bricks. Put the heater in the water (what should i set it too 85?) and put the closed in eggs onto the bricks and leave?

Any tips would be extreamly helpful. Thanks

I havent used this method but
you would need a shelf to put on the bricks to keep the containers out of the water also , as for temps it depends on what eggs your incubating

I tried it and wasn't very successful - maybe my tank was too big for my heater.

I've gone back to the airing cupboard for now!

we've tried it with limited success, we found that it was just too humid for a lot of things.
