Default crestie substrate

hiya, what is that soil/moss like substrate used for cresties? i looks really good but have no clue what it is:P also if i was putting it in a melamine viv, would i have to do anything different? i presume its moist so wouldnt want it to damage the viv... many thanks

The soily substrate is eco earth, which is the zoo med brand for dried, ground coconut husk. Can be found in blocks in most garden centres I should think. Comes in a dense brick, and you soak it in water and let it expand.
The moss is sphagnum (sp) moss. Not sure if the melamine viv will get damaged by it or not.

Melamine vivs, over time will be effected by the dampness and humidity in a crestie setup.
