Default Gecko Habitat question

I have acquired some leftover roof slates, these aren't real slate but a modern composite of unknown origin.

Would these be ok instead of natural slate for a leo.

Planning ahead here still a few months to go till it hopefully arrives

Ghey should be very non porous I guess and I have a while to take them through several clean and bake cycles.

Cant see any trouble with them. Long as they're sterilised before being put in.
