Smile How do you look after mealworms


How do you look after mealworms might sound stupid but how do you look after them, what can you feed them and do they need any water or not thanks alot nick

I feed mine carrot, when they have stopped eating the carrot i take them out.

we keep ours in a crushed up wheatabix for food/substrate and throw in leafy greens for moisture contend and other nutrients.

Also helping in the keeping of my Mothers..
1.1 shetland pony's
3 Aylesbury Ducks
1.4 Chickens [erm 4 hens and 1 very pretty Cock]
[sorry dogs and cats get no mention]

I keep mine in the small tub they came. This seems to work well.

Fed fruit, veg and tropical fish flakes.
