That's normal. Crickets taste somewhat bitter, are fast-moving and small. Locusts taste much nicer, are larger (therefore more worthwhile to chase) and are much more brightly coloured.
Unfortunately, many beardies will do this if fed a mixed diet. If you are happy to keep your BD on locusts, then keep feeding it locusts. If you don't want it to live on just locusts, then stop feeding it locusts. After a few days of only having crickets offered to it, it will give in and start eating crickets again.
