if it's about that... then all i can say is that mental illness can't be a passively treated thing... the patient has responsibilities... meds and docs can only go so far... working on one's self is the very hardest part but it is the key...

also dual treatments in substance abuse and the psychological aspect have to be dealt with in tandem
