i have a salamander and would like to start breeding them. I have had him/her for nearly 4 years now and im not sure where to find an old enough partner, any suggestions?

i have two fire salamanders and are wondering, is there any possible way to tell what sex they are at the age of around 5 to 7 months. I know how stupid i sound but im only 12 and its my first anphibian.
