I would personally keep it in a rub until it starts feeding- if it is very young get it started feeding on chicks and after a couple of feeds switch over to rat pups. Once you have got it feeding you can put it in the big viv just make sure it has plenty of hides- if it feels insecure it will not feed

It's ok dude...I'm bald too. It happens to alot of middle-aged guys...we just shave it off so no one can tell LMAO! I am glad he won't grow much bigger, as I already have a small fear in the back of my mind that if he gt loose he might attack one of my Pitbulls.

I think my Pits would tear him to shreds, personally, but it was never a chance I wanted to take. Do you think a snake that size could pose a threat to a few 70-80 lbs Pitbulls or would they rip him apart like X-mas Goose?

Ok, I was just wondering cuz most people told me that a 7 foot male is actually big for a male yellow....I heard 5-6 feet is usually average. So you are saying it is very possible for him to hit 10 feet?

damn dude,...that sucks, i'm sorry to hear that, beautiful animal.....it's like losing a family member...i was very attached to all my Burmese. I even feel terrible when one of my Cichlids dies. Which person is you in the pictures? the bald dude or the younger guy?

I think my male is between 8-10 years old also...I had him for 3 years, but they said he was 5-6 when i got him.
