    I haven't tried using expanding foam, I'm pretty sure you can heat the tank the same way, just by putting a heat mat on the side. Try PMing or leaving a message for C_Strike, he's decorated tanks using expanding foam, he'll know more about how to heat them right.

    Heat mats should go on the side or back of the tank because spiders burrow to find a cooler place. What sort of decor do you want to use? I find it easier, because of the amount of spiders and how much space they use, to heat my whole room. A heat mat will be fine though

    Good choice, the younger ones have different markings from the adults, so it's great to watch the colors change as they get older. They are semi arboreal, you should suppy a bit of a terrestrial setup as well as things for it to climb on.

Well, 90% of you won't know who I am, or how long I've been here other than looking at my profile, but I've begun to notice alot of things in the few weeks I've been active on the forums:

1) So called 'Experts' who insist the way they raise, care and deal with their own pets is the ONLY way, what works for one, doesn't always work for others, circumstances can change and others may find BETTER ways.

2) Too much bitching, especially with regards to pet stores, the guys...
