Haven't updated here for a while but just thought I'd say whats happening with Smudge at the mo.

We have put him into doggy daycare lately, so we can go out as a family and he's not home alone.

It has been the best thing for him reguarding socialising, he's getting walked as part of a pack, playing all day, no issues with any other dogs there...it's been fab.

People used to avoid him because he's so big and bouncy but now he's had the chance to be...

Smudgies is ONE today, kids will pick him up a prezzie later, they wanted a party of course!!

Smudge was doing so well with recall but is having a lapse at the moment.

We recall using a whislte, alot easier than bellowing across a field. And he would come straight back everytime.

But now he's had a few rabbits, he's in the zone and is not paying any attention to recall. Got a bit cocky really, and very excited.

Be back to basics by the looks and start again.

Yup that's right...........Clarissa Dickson Wright thought he was lovely. She has a Lurcher too, was chatting to her at the Bath & West Show yesterday.

Had a lovely day up there this year, was a really good show, lots to see. Wolves were great, huge vulture too.

The kids had a fab time running about with the Beagles from the Ilminster Hunt - Smudge was longing to join in - bless!

But he had plenty of backsides to sniff up there aswell - never...

Smudgey was 6 months old this week, wow hasn't he grown.
