    Hi,

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply to your message.

Yes, I didn't realise that King's Lynn had so many reptile owners lol.
We are looking forward to the Norwich show, this will be the first time I have been to the Norwich one because the one earlier in the year was cancelled :-(.

    Take Care,
    Carly

They are a good food, with a bit of a 'crunch' to them without as much chitin as a cricket might have, I wouldn't say you could feed them exclusively on roaches, but you could certainly make it a backbone of their feeding regieme, only problem i have found with my anoles and roaches are that roaches are photophobic and as soon as they are put into the cage they scatter for the dark places, and unless your anoles spot them pretty sharpish they can evade your beasties for quite a while... I have tho found two ways around this, firstly if you have a little time add the roaches one by one while your anoles are watching you from their branches, like they do, that way they all have the eyeball for just one roach and its not as likely to get away, plus you will witness some impressive social behaviour if two or more dart for it at the same time...
Second way is to get a small clear plastic tub and place the roaches into that, as they cannot climb, the anoles will happily pick the roaches out of the tub and run off without a problem! hope this all helps you?!
