Yo mate, I was looking at the monitors and tegus thread and reading about how you use food to tame your bosc. I think its fascinating, it's all about positive reinforcment, no matter what animal if it's got a bit of intelligence you can use positive reinforcement to train it. I'm just wondering how do you teach bite inhibition? Do you scorn them or tell them a firm "No" or what? I mean at the moment by bosc is petrified of me. I not sure if he'll ever trust me enough to not run away if I was to do something like that. I dunno though, if you can get them trusting you and train bite inhibition I'm sure you could train them anything with food. I heard somewhere that there is a lace monitor that can count to six on command. Anyway, I'd love to know as much as possible about the way you went about things with your bosc. giz a shout.
It is here Monitors - "How To" cages it's on another forum so I'm not really sure we're supposed to link to them. Kind of like a step by step instruction - it's really cool
