I caught Dorado in a shed last saturday, bless him, so it's possible.
    I can't believe how huge he's got!
He's really bad at hunting his mealies though, just kind of lunges at them until he hits, last night he literally missed a lunge and ended up kicking the mealworm away from him which then escaped behind his tank terrain >_<
Yes I got my Clarks samples a while ago, to be honest they don't seem to have made much of a difference. I still don't see anywhere near and empty bowl, or even any signs of him feeding at all. =C
I may be slower to reply now BTW because I'm getting ready to move into my student accomodation and start my third year at uni.

Poor Harley, I wonder why he's going for you? Perhaps you should ask one of the Crestie vets for any advice. I know one other person said that their crestie bites, I guess it becomes more of an issue when they get older and have big chompers.
Maybe he's learnt to associate you with food?

Dorado's doing well thank you (and yup you spelt his name correctly ^_^), he muched up all his mealies yesterday in no time. No aggression on his side but he still gets in a mood sometimes and doesn't want to be held. He's doing really well though, I kind of want to bring him out of the cage and handle him more but I'm afraid he'll jump out of my hands and run away. >_<

I did consider the canned ones but I've heard really bad things about them lacking in nutrients etc. If all that's not true though (we've heard inaccurate things in the past) then it's cool that you've found an alternative!
My mealies stink too! I've cleaned them out today though so they're alot better then before. I'm going to see if I can breed mine- might make things easier. I also want to see what Dorado makes of the mealworms in bug-form.

I'll definetly check out your pictures!
    Nice to talk ^_^

    Thanks!
He loves to lunge, even if he misses. Yesterday he lunged 10 times at mealie repeatedly because he couldn't be bothered to move foward that little bit that was needed to get it and because he thought that if he lunged he'd eventually get it XD
    He's like a lunge machine.

Thay're very cute indeed! The only family member if mine who dislikes him is my dad who says he doesn't do enough >.<

I know what you mean about handling. Sometimes Dorado will get in such a state when I go near him, I can see his breathing get faster, but more recently he's been very placid. I try the back-bump method sometimes, but it tends to distress him alot, for the most part recently he's been much calmer and happier if I try the hand-under-the-chin method. Whatever works I guess.
    I've gotta see the leg-video.
What did you think of my vid? =3

    Hey!
    Me and Dorado are fine.
I haven't really noticed until you mentioned it but, yeah, El Dorados got bigger too!

I am trying to handle El Dorado daily, some days he's fine and will sit in my hand happily for five minutes, some days he'd rather be as far away from me at night. He becomes a Diablo at night and handling at night is a no-no at the moment XD.
I think he's getting used to me which is good.

The backleg thing sounds really cute! Wish I could see it.
Dorado loves mealworms too! I've got a blurry film of him eating one on Youtube here-
YouTube - El Dorado vs. Mini Mealworm
He's so adorable just before he strikes! I just love him to bits!

I don't think you can sex them until a certain weight but I'm not sure. =S

You're not going on at all!
I enjoy keeping up dated with Harley's progress, and I enjoy talking to you!

No- I tend to just use filtered water. Is that bad? XC

    Cute!
I always check on my gecko during the day to make sure it hasn't somehow escaped, he tends to sleep in roughly the same place.

I tend to give about 4-5 mini mealies in a session, all individually.
Dorado tends to sleep a variety of places, very rarely on the floor. So i'm always put off when he sleeps there XD
