Hi everyone,
I recently acquired my first snake but i don´t know the species name. I faintly remember someone saying Burmese Python but i´m not sure. So I turn to you, the experts, with hope that any of you could tell me what species this is. Here are some photos of it: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know the pics are not great but I hope that someone can figure this out for me. Looks like a boa to me.
i do hope you know they get large? Or rather if you dont know what species they are, you should research the species of snake you have now. so you know what to feed, when to feed, the temps, water, viv size for an adult. and so on.

Definitely a boa. Temps in the warm end should be around 90F with humidity at 70% but definitely find yourself a care sheet, even better get a book.
