Unhappy Hi all!!

Hi all, first time on here and i need a little advice on my boys bearded dragon!
He's gone a little loopy!!
He was well handled when we got him at 8 weeks old, he's now 9 months old, and was handle-able until about 2 months ago, now he tries to savage anyone who goes near him and spend all his time under his rock!
My boys scared to death of him!
Any advice?

Welcome to the forum, there are more expereinced keepers who will be able to help you but I will say that beadies don't need hinds as they don't get enough UV if they have one.

Can you please post more details inc temps (hot end and cool end), size of tank, UV tube?.

Is there anything near the tank which may be scaring him/her? Has anyone dropped him/her or caught her in the glass?

Daz

Hi, welcome to the forum.

You might get a better response if you post this question on the lizard help and advice section.

I can't really help with the problem but I have heard that beardies can get a bit grumpy as juveniles and usually calm down.

Hope someone else can give you better help.

this is very strange behaviour for a dragon, is he is pain? like someone said has he been dropped or trapped somewhere? is there soemthing new in the tank? Beardies alsways seem to "like" being handled and are normally of a calm disposition.

Just thought. Have you brought any new dragons or pets recently, or have any other pets that would irritate or scare her? I no as they grow older they can have odd effects.

My Dragon hates my king snake when she see's me handling her

also, can he see any other dragons or pets? my dragons HATE it when they can see the others, i think its a dominance thing too, like my male goes mental if he can see the other male in a higher viv? charges round his viv bobbing and running at the glass!!!
