Not at halls. Halls don't allow them but people have hid smaller ones successfully just get them out of the hall when full inspections happen. Better off with private house's. They are cheaper and most allow reptiles as they are in sealed enclosures.

In my halls in the first year it was a problem as whenever a fire alarm went off they checked everyroom to make sure everyone was out.

However got a house just outside of campus and got my Corn, Royal & Mangrove stitting nicely in my room & so far no problem with the landlord (although they don't know)

I'm as we speak feeding my 9 geckos which are in very discreet underbed storage boxes in my room. I live in private accomodation/flat. All my flatmates think its great. Luckily nobody inspects the rooms etc. so I'm hoping to get away with it despite there being the usual non pet rule!

I was a warden for the halls of residence last year lets just say keeping reptiles without getting caught isn't that hard. Disguising a viv as a table or ensuring that your viv is small enough to be slipped into the bottom of the wardrobe during room inspections are just two favourite methods for keeping them hidden. That and finding a warden who is simpathetic to herps helps.
