"Het" refers to heterozygous, which is in simple terms a hidden ie recessive gene. There is no way of telling if a snake is "het" fo any one ore more appearances. The genotype for which the parent is "het" for will have no effect unless the father is als "het".

"het" is visually normal.

Buying Het's is a trust issue . Any paperwork you get with it is only as good as the reputation of the person giving it . It could theoretically take years before you get the recessive gene showing even if Het is visible to mate .

They know when I lie too because they don't come when I say it but don't drop the food in .

to be fair, paperwork is usually ver easy to fake, i am told.. wouldnt know where to start myself.
as the above poster said, its all on trust.
iwould start by buying from someone with a good name, if possible see the parents aswell.

Come on !!! You type a document saying what the parents were and sign it...

Paperwork and photos are all gimmicks though

Buy from people you dont trust, simple as that. I personally am prepared to take the risk of a het not being a het in 3 years time as the cost of them compared to the visual morph is a good deal less.
