Default RUB temps

Hey guys, I keep my snakes in wooden vivs but space is a bit of a problem in my gaf, I'm after some new additions and thinking about housing them in RUB's but I was wondering how you'd go about getting high temps in them with a basking spot only using an underside heater. Anyone have a good set up using a Ceramic heater, bulb etc?

Use heat cable or heat strips, I dont use ceramics in rubs. Once you have a rack of tubs they are all heated at the same end and seem to keep each other warmer than a viv ever can be on its own with the same type of heating. Never found getting the temps up to be an issue in rubs at all.

I also use them for most of my snakes and have no problems using heat mats on a thermostat under one end of the tub.

It'd be difficult to set up a ceramic bulb, not worth the hassle in my opinion.

I thought as much, I've been having a play around and managed to get temps around 30ish C. Thanks for the info
