Default help

Hi all

Im new the this i have just been give a leopard gecko and viv from a friend. he has a heat lamp in the viv but om not sure about leavening it on for long periods of time? hwats the best form of heat for the?
heat stone heat mat? any help is grateful

get rid of the light you need a heat mat on a thermostat

heatmat a third of the floor area at one end, on a thermostat.
dont need light, gecko is noctural & probly be happier without.
has s/he got hiding places and a moist hide to shed in?
