Leatherjackets

Hi all,
I was wondering if leatherjackets (crane fly larvae) would be alright to feed to my 8 mounth old bearded dragon.Also, If they are, would it be possibal to breed them?

Try picking one up. They have pincers that can deliver a painful bite and exude a green/brown liquid that stinks.

I don't know if they are edible but I wouldn't try them on any of mine (and I've tried most things).
The adults are fine though. Grcko's love them.
