You read my mind...I've just got a baby corn too and was wondering what was best. I currently have him sharing my royals heat mat until we can get him another set up. A guy told me last night that 28 was a good temp? But I need a bit more info really.

I have mine at 86-88F, royal at 90-94.

So if you set your royal to 90 the corn should do ok sharing the heatmat, get one soon though

Congratulations on the corn snake.

Try to get a temperature gradient of 21-30°C (70-86°F), to be honest with corn snake aslong as you have a heat mat at around 30°C covering about a third of the tub you shouldn't go far wrong.

Oh yeah a mat stat from habiatat is fine and you can get the for £20-£30.

my baby has a heat mat on one side of his tub and it gets around 28-32c and he has eaten 4 and shed once already all within a month so I must be doing something right

it rarely gets to above 30 tho if any of you were thinking it was too hot
