Anoles are very fast so it is not recommended to handle them.
Alot of people keep them in exo-terra vivs that need to have a high humidity maintained by spraying daily.
Im not sure about theyre diet but im certain they eat crickets and maybe mealworms.

Dont handle they are veryquick and you will have a little escapee rather easily. Plus they stress easily and the handling will make them stress easily. They eat small crickets, locusts etc but they love flying insects like moths so allow wax worms to hatch into moths.

Keep them with lots of vegetation in something tall with plenty of ventilation. Exo terras are good. Don't forget they need basking and UV

Hi Hurricane,

I am definetly no expert on Anoles as i have only had ours for 3wks but so far i have found that they eat crickets, the little furry worms that come with the crickets and house flies (i managed to catch one and the nxt morning it was gone). They eat roughly a couple of crickets each per day (although when we first got ours back from the shop one of them ate 8 in a row!)

They really like to stay high up in their tanks and only come down to the ground to eat. They dont like to be handled and you can see their poor little hearts beating like made when you have to take them out of their tank to clean them (although i am hoping this will get better as they get used to us). We spray the tank as often as we can to try and keep the humidity up and also they dont tend to drink from a water basin, instead they lick the water droplets off the glass (from spraying).

We bought one of the flexible vines and they love lying on that and they like to hide behind leaves etc.

I hope that helps a bit, like i say i am still learning!

H
