so do you suggest haveing the uv across the the back so it light's up the hole viv or put a spot lamp in to as some ppl are saying a house hold bulb as well and am takeing the sand out tomoz and get a guard for the ceramic bulb and ill get a smaller bowl in the cooler end

uv across the back if you can get a reflector so it aims it through the tank and doesnt waste it lighting places which dont need it, sand out asap, bulb gaurd yes, water bowl keep that one just move it away from the bulb

just use a normal household spotlight for your heating a 60w should be fine, and the uv running the length at the back of the viv , use a digital thermometer to get temps right
