BUT 100W bulb will it be ok on a HabiStat Dimming Thermostat MAX 600W as im not sure exactly what it would do because i read somehwhere it reduced the wattage to decrease the tempreture of the bulb etc ? any one help me cheers |

You set the temperature you want on the thermostat and position the probe in an appropriate place (where it will get hot). Once that temperature is reached the stat will limit the amoutn of power to the bulb which dims it (like a household dimmer switch on the wall) which in turn reduces the heat produced. Also use in conjunction with a digital thermometer though to be sure the temperature you've set on the stat is accurate, |
