Default newbie advice required ybs

how come my ybs have very different claws? should we trim them so they are all the smae length? 3 hve short clawes but the other one has really long ones; is this nornal?

The one with the long claws is a male. Do not trim them. I am sure this is right but I am more of a lizard girl really. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

the 3 with short claws are females and the one with the latge claws is indeed a male. do NOT cut the nails as they use them for breeding rituals (fanning were they extend there front arms and rapidly vibrate their claws at the other turtle) and to also show dominence, they also just practice at fanning at practically anything
