Default My leo has cut his toe??

I have come home from work this eve to find my leo with a tiny red toe, its only 9weeks and has recently shed but it still has few bits on its tiny toes??
i think it may have tried to get bit of skin off and ripped it? was two dots of blood on the floor so really worried. George will let you touch its toe not limping but bit scared as i'm a new mum!!!!!

Any advise please..........

OK. Pictures would help. Also possibly posting this in the lizard forum as your more likely to get more people who keep leos.
Secondly, if you have any bits of retained shed, you need to get them off, especially on their toes or tippy tails.
Im not sure what to say about cuts, just keep an eye on it and keep it clean (maybe paper substrate for a while)
Good luck

Soak it in luke warm water (luke warm to you will feel warmer to the creature) in a shallow dish (definately not deep enough to go anywhere near its head) and try to remove any retained shed with a cotton bud or your fingers, but be careful, especially while your gecko is small.

The reason you have to remove retained shed quickly is because it can lead to restriction of blood flow resulting in the loss of the toe/tippy tail.
