Default very worried!

I h ave a corn aged 4 months old and while we was away last week, she shed but the person looking after her and her sister did'nt realise that the lower part of her tail had'nt shed right, we noticed it the night we got home and since then we have been soaking her tail nightly, this seemed to be working til i looked tonight and it seems some of the shed has got caught and ripped some skin.
I'm taking her to the vets tommorrow but i'm very worried about her as now the tip of her tail seems to have gone black, terrified that i'm gonna lose her

The vet will probably only tell you to keep it clean, I would just keep the corn on kitchen roll and keep it clean and iodene may help if it is only a small wound Also soak her in water about 30*c every two days or so as it will help it heal clean.

How's your corn? You did the right thing, going to the vet is the best solution there is.
