When is the best time to weigh a royal python?
Hi Guys, As the title says when is the best time to weigh my Royal, before he is fed or a few days after he is fed? Also I have seen a few people stating the weight of their snakes as 'empty' what does this mean?

As it says on the tin really. ''Empty'' is a weight taken when their stomach/digestive system is generally empty.
As in...after being fed, digesting the meal & once it has defecated. Weighing a few days after feeding will yield innacurate results as the undigeted remains of the prey (now as faeces) will still be in the system adding to the weight. Hope this helps.

I weigh all mine the day b4 i feed them. This is done weekly so i can see how they are growing.
